Transport/Distribution
CPR is recognised as one of the UK’s market leaders in PR for the transport and distribution sector in the UK.

The consultancy has acted for more parcels carriers than any other PR agency in the UK over the past 20 years and has also acted for a diverse range of industry associations and accessory suppliers in the sector.

Motor Industry/Automotive
CPR has carved itself a reputation as a major player in PR for the motor/automotive industry generally.

For the past 19 years CPR has acted as PR consultants to LTI Vehicles, manufacturers of the iconic London Black Cab. Recent activities have included the launch of the highly acclaimed TX4. CPR was also behind the launch of the acclaimed national safety campaign Taxiwise.

In the accessories market CPR has carried out successful PR campaigns for Ripspeed, Fletchers Autostore and more recently handled the launch of RattleBuster who were recommended to Century PR on the basis of its expertise in bringing new products to market.

Within just two months, Century PR’s campaign not only achieved over £100,000 worth of coverage for RattleBuster in the national and regional press as well as specialist consumer magazine cover and an invitation to appear on the Chris Evans Show on BBC Radio 2.

Property/Construction
The property and construction market has become a key specialist area for Century PR. Not only have we successfully worked for one of the region’s leading award winning estate agents in Newman Property Services but also for two premier property developers – Parker-Lake Homes and the Cassidy Group.

Our established reputation and track record in the sector led to Century being appointed by the Ian Neale Construction Group which has enjoyed a considerably increased profile within their local market area press. Also a recent full page profile in the Birmingham Post and major feature articles in leading Midlands business and quality consumer magazines.

Retail
Since the year 2000 CPR has acted as PR consultants to the Heart of England Co-operative Society with the objective of raising and maintaining the Society’s profile within its trading region. Despite intensive competition within the retail sector this has been consistently achieved over the past seven years. During this period the client has increased profitability every year.

CPR also has experience in working within the retail systems market for organisations such as Retail Assist.

Manufacturing/Industry
Century PR’s ability to work within a diverse marketplace is evident in its work for companies in manufacturing such as Arburg, Ultraseal Engineering and Orbik Electronics.

Each company has a very specific area of specialism within the manufacturing and engineering industries. They have enjoyed consistent publicity and coverage within their target market sectors through a series of news stories and feature articles as well as at local level.

Consumer Electronics
Another of CPR’s major specialist area is the consumer electronics industry in which we have a proven track record having worked successfully for organisations such as Thorn EMI incorporating Radio Rentals, MultiBroadcast, Focus, Thomson and Grundig.

The objective of each PR campaign was to increase market share which through consistent publicity at both national level and within specialist media was achieved in each case.

Indeed it was on the back of CPR’s reputation within the marketplace that Intelliswitch engaged our services to launch its range of intelligent light switches. This led to the sale of the product range to a national distributor as a direct result of the profile achieved.

Telematics
CPR has a proven track record in the Telematics sector having worked extensively in the industry initially with ITIS and subsequently NavTrak with whom CPR worked for five years and helped take to float. CPR today acts for Swindon based CMS and is responsible for developing both its corporate brand profile as well as increased awareness of its range of products and services.

CPR has achieved extensive coverage for these organisations within both the national and trade press considerably enhancing their awareness in the marketplace.

Financial Services
Coutts Bank, Coventry Building Society (6 years) and the Premier Group are just three companies within the financial services sector which have benefited from CPR’s professional PR consultancy. IN each case the service was designed to maximise the level of coverage achieved within each of their key target markets.

Insurance
CPR has a proven track record within the insurance market having worked with Allen & Allen, one of the UK’s major players in non standard motor insurance and also NFU.

Over the past six years the A & A Group has benefited from consistent PR coverage in the national, specialist motoring and regional press.

For NFU a consultancy support service was offered in the form of editorial support for its affiliate members in addition to publicising a new product, launched at regional level.

Hotels & Restaurants
CPR has worked extensively within the hotel and restaurant sector working initially for Michelin Star rated Simpson’s Restaurant and thereafter for the award winning Pearl Hotels & Restaurants Group comprising the Raffles and Georgetown national brands. Also the award winning Tumeric Gold and more recently the£1 million refurbished Earlsdon Cottage which has received local, regional and national PR. Our creative concept of making the world’s most expensive pancake hit the headlines on TV, radio and the national press earlier in 2007.

Awareness levels for each establishment has increased substantially through consistent publicity at all levels resulting in increased footfall and profile.

Facilities Management e.g. cleaning/maintenance
In this highly competitive market, CPR acts for the UK’s leading independent commercial cleaning and facilities management organisation – Blue Diamond Services. Other clients have included vehicle cleaning specialists London based LPW and northern chemicals company Mayvil Chemicals for whom coverage was gained through a mix of news stories and case studies in their PR campaigns.

The brief from Blue Diamond was for a combined corporate and trade press campaign to raise the company’s profile both within its core markets and within the national and business press. High profile results have included major articles in the Sunday Times, Independent on Sunday etc.

Education
CPR has a strong track record in co-ordinating and managing school competitions at national level. Originally launching the National School’s Video Awards on behalf of Thorn EMI, Century PR managed to gain the patronage of Sir Richard Attenborough and the ongoing support of the Awards from HRH Prince Edward, the late Lord Lichfield and Michael Winner.

The concept was later adopted by one of the world’s top brands Disney Videos for whom Century PR worked for the next five years with responsibility for managing the Disney Videos Young Film Makers Awards. Numerous celebrities supported the awards through attending the annual Awards final to present the awards. Personalities include Jeremy Irons, Sir Bob Geldof, Jenny Agutter, Martin Shaw etc.

As a result of the profile CPR progressively gained within the schools marketplace as a specialist in running campaigns, we were engaged by Numicom to launch this innovative form of education to the UK market.
