Chief executive John Clarke OBE has rare rounded media, PR and communications experience as a former qualified newspaper journalist, an in house PR executive, trade press editor and over two decades at the forefront of running a successful national PR consultancy.
His career track record includes senior PR and Communications Management roles with British Leyland (BL), Chrysler UK/Peugeot and also at BP headquarters in London. He was head-hunted by leading publisher EMAP as Founding Editor of Fleet News (Truck Edition), sister of Fleet News, the established fleet cars publication. He launched CPR in 1986 in Coventry offering a rare mix of media relations skills – journalism, trade press and blue-chip in-house corporate PR management.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, a Founder Member of the Guild of Public Relations Practitioners, a Freeman of the City of London and Liveryman of the Worshipful Order of Carmen (Founded 1512).

In January 2005, he was awarded the OBE for Services to the Community of Coventry. He is actively involved in the NSPCC, is Vice Chair of the Coventry Business Group, Associate Director and former Board Director of Coventry City Football Club, former Associate Director Coventry Rugby Club, Board Director of the Coventry Transport Museum, former Board Director and Chair and Trustee of the Belgrade Theatre Development Group.
He is also Founder and Chair of the historical local history group The Caludon Society. He has recently been appointed Vice Chair of Caludon Castle Business and Enterprise Specialist School’s Local Advisory Board. He has recently accepted an invitation to be its Business Mentor linking the school with local business and industry.

Managing director Celeste Clarke is a former freelance journalist. With a BA (Hons) in Law and History. Celeste commenced her career in the law before moving into PR in 1986 having regularly written for trade press magazines as a freelance writer.
The transition to PR was an easy one. She has developed a proven track record working for a diverse client portfolio including Disney, Coutts, Thorn-EMI, Grundig, Thomson and a broad range of clients across many sectors. Each benefits from her excellent media contacts within the national, business, trade and regional media.
She has extensive experience in building brand profile on behalf of her clients at corporate level, in addition to launching and managing lobbying campaigns, such as Taxiwise and Wake Up.
